Ascendant Technologies, designs, engineers, procures, supplies and maintains technical process automation and control products for the Oil & Gas, Power and Petrochemical sectors.

The business is divided into two Divisions:

1. Heavy Duty Valve Automation Systems, based on FLOWBUS heavy duty
    valve actuators.

2. Steam Systems, based on ENERCON venturi steam traps and BOPP &
    REUTHER safety valves.

Flowbus Corporation of Seoul, South Korea have appointed Ascendant Technologies as an exclusive distributor. The agreement was signed at Ascendants' premises in South Wales by Mr. Park, President of Flowbus and Mrs. Moon, International Sales Manager during a meeting in September 2008. More

HART transmitter
Ascendant can now supply switchboxes containing a 4-20mA transmitter which communicates via HART protocol. HART superimposes a condition "signature" onto the feedback signal allowing remote diagnostics. More

SIL-3 rated emergency shut-down valve controllers

Bopp & Reuther appoint Ascendant
Bopp & Reuther are a major global manufacturer of Safety and Relief Valves based in Mannheim, Germany. Their range includes API Valves and ASME valves, including ASME Class 1 for the Power industry and "N Stamped" Valves for Nuclear installations. Bopp & Reuther also have a specialist Power Division which supplies customised Control Valves for niche applications in Power Stations. Ascendant has been appointed as the exclusive UK distributor for both Divisions. More

Rembe appoints Ascendant
Ascendant Technologies has been appointed an official distributor by Rembe, a German based manufacturer of bursting discs. Rembe manufacture a full range of discs, holders and indicators, however, Ascendant expect to focus on the KUB-V disc, which when fitted below a safety valve, can facilitate in-line testing of the safety valve without disruption of the process or removal of the valve. This feature is unique to Rembe and represents a massive saving in time and money for our clients. More
